Dr McKenna
Pixie’s both a private GP in London and a clinical assistant in Sexual Health and Dermatology for the NHS.
Having completed diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, as well as Paediatrics and Dermatology, she qualified as a General Practicioner in 1999. She worked in corporate healthcare in the City for several years, followed by a three year post in a family practice in Notting Hill. She then started her own practice in Ireland and continues to work as a sessional GP in Harley Street.
Throughout her GP career, Pixie has held sessional posts in both Dermatology and Sexual Health at three large London hospitals, giving her unrivalled expertise in those fields. Prior to joining the EI team, Pixie worked on BBC3’s Freaky Eaters programme, offering nutritional and health advice to some of the UK’s most fussy eaters.
