Bed Bugs

Bed bugs

Bed bugs were a problem that humans thought they had got under control, but recent years have seen a 500% increase in their occurrence. Previously confined to hotels and transport hubs, they are increasingly becoming common in peoples homes, and as they are easily passed from person to person, they can be easily spread. Bed bugs generally emerge at night and draw blood from humans by piercing them with twin tubes. One side anaesthetises the wound and the other side draws blood. The result is a raised, itchy lump on the body, which can take up to a week to appear after the initial bite. Though they will heal of their own accord, anti-histamines are often administered to control the intense itching, whilst hot water can also help alleviate the symptoms. Ultimately, the cause of the infestation must be treated in order to prevent reoccurrence.

hey...changing the bed covers dont help...depending on how infested it is really.. look out for * black diamond shaped mark around the bed, pillows* if u have wall paper look at any lose areas, they hide there..if you have some, call an exterminator asap

Hi i had bed bugs and they are a nightmare, Just by changing your bedding does nothing, they live and breed in wood, carpets and behind wallpaper. Look around your bed frame and matteress for black looking stains in a clustard area, there eggs look like small hard grains of salt. the only way to get rid of them is to call pest control in at least 2/3 times. hope this helps

i had the same thing but what you could do is leave it. When it starts to itch get a piece of tissue paper, cloth, napkin, any thing related to that ect.... add a bit of water and press it on to the rash when it really starts to itch press harder then in no time its going to fade away easy. keep trying it, it may seem like it doesnt work but in a month or so you'll see the deffrence. becuase i had the same thing last 2 years and it really helped me. it can spread on your arm the more you scratch so i advice you dont itch
