Dermatitis

This is not a condition in itself, but rather a catch all term used to describe a number of conditions that cause inflammation of the skin. Conditions which dermatitis can cover include eczema, psoriasis and allergic reactions, as well as a number of very rare skin complaints. It is normally an initial diagnosis that is subsequently clarified after a visit to a dermatologist.

I am 16 years old and have suffer from sore, itchy redness at the bottom of my vagina, it is on the outer lip skin and on the gap between my vagina and anus. There is no strange discharge and I am not particularly worried about it although it is uncomfortable and can make sex very painful. I thought it may be a type of dermatitis, and in that case, what type of cream or ointment would you reccommend?
