Premature Greying
Becoming a refined, silver-haired beauty like former newsreader, Anna Ford, or a ‘silver fox’ like Des Lynam, is perfectly acceptable with age. However, grey hair can sometimes besiege the bonces of the young, often during the teenage years. Interestingly, we all begin life with white hair, which then gets its natural colour before birth due to the formation of the pigment melanin. This subsequently gives us our beautiful and uniquely coloured flowing locks, which usually turn grey between the ages of 35-50 as part our genetic inheritance. Premature greying is often a symptom of Premature Ageing syndromes, but there are many other reasons why it occurs, such as genetic or hormonal factors; external reasons, such as climate, pollutants and toxins; or an underlying medical condition, such as poliosis, which causes localised patches of white hair, or the skin condition vitiligo. Get checked out by your GP if you’re worried. Otherwise, you can either go grey gracefully or reach for the mahogany hair colour.

morgan im the same as you im 15 and have grey hair and i also get bullied. i thought i was the only one but i found that im not. I want to know what should i do about it please help somebody!!!

im 14 and have been grey since the age 3. I don't like it but im used to it. I've tried dyine my hair several times and even pulling parts of my hair out when im angry. But they just seem to grow back quicker and longer. HELP ME PLEASE.
Hey im a girl 14 years of age and ive had my first grey hair at the age of 1.by 8 was dying my hair because it was too embarassing and now at 14 i have to dye it all the time cuz the roots show up quite fast and if i dont people would make fun of me.I was premature and so i didnt have enough of this chemical called "Melanin" So yeah im kool with the whole grey thing now = ]

Today I M 52 years of age, fit and healthy.
I have some white hairs in my head, which may be natural. However otherwise I do look young for my age.
When I used hair colour to turn it black, I had a nasty reaction and my head was swollen.
Could U recommend something else by which I could have all black hair and yet be safe
from any reaction?
Hi, my pubic hair has been going grey for the past three year and it has got to a point ere it's very embarasing. although is is the case, my fiance has be actually helping me to get rid of it by physically removing it by hand. the reason for this is because, this method removes them from the root thereby delaying regrowth.
