Conditions
Priapism
Most men probably think that the ability to sustain an erection for several hours is a cause for celebration. In fact, many would perhaps demand that a statue be ‘erected’ in their honour to mark such a feat of super-virility. However, men everywhere should be careful what they wish for, because an erection that simply won’t quit is more commonly known as a priapism. This can be very painful and occurs when the blood in the penis is trapped and unable to return to the circulation (it isn’t necessarily related to sexual stimulation or desire). The medical name for this condition is derived from a Greek god of fertility called Priapus, who was renowned for his sizeable and constantly engorged erect penis. However, even the Gods won’t be able to help you if you don’t get this condition treated, because failure to do so can lead to scarring and permanent impotence.

I had an erection (for the usual reasons)which resulted in a priapism, and after enjoying for about 40 minutes, then enduring angony for more than a further 2 hours or more, I went to my local emergency. I became the guy in the examining room with a "swelling" and everyone from the nurses to the cleaning staff wandered in to check on me. To make a long story short, (excuse the pun) a Urologist was called in and my priapism was drained. Not a nice experience, but very necessary. I went home 6 hours after initial arousal requirements. Now for the serious bit, when they say go to your local emergency if you have an erection that lasts for 4 hours or more, THEY MEAN IT. In fact, under normal circumstances, if your erection lasts more than an hour, then that in itself is a "heads up" (excuse the other pun) to be aware. Yes, every man wishes he could have an erection for an "allnighter", but from my own particular experience, it was extremely painfull, uncomfortable and somewhat funny now when I look back on my own particular experience. Why did I have a priapism in the first place, well the usual erectile drugs ceased to function on me, and the next remedy is to inject a mix directlty into the penis, specifically the erectile tubes in the penis shaft. I enjected too musch, about twice the amount required. The final outcome, I now have a 3 part penile implant, but thats another story.
Hey, i was wondering if you could help. Ive got lots of white spots on my scrotum, some are tiny, and there are some that are quite prominant. I know they are probly fordyce spots, but ive had them sinze i can remember, it worries me as what other people will think during sexual activities. I am still a virgin so it cant be sexualy transmited. I was wondering if there is any treatment i could do personaly, wich leads me onto my next worry. I am very prone to erections, wich is why i havent gone to my gp for i know i WILL get one, it isent even sexualy related, i get them all the time if i was to be naked in front of another person, i think its nerves or somthing, but will these go? i cant stand the though of being erect even before the doctor asks me to whip off my underwear just because i know hes going to see my penis, haha. Help?
hi wouldnt worry about the white spots i have them and the woman from the gum clinic told me they were nothing, as for getting an erection with the doc i was so nervus about the situation theres no chance id get one, and even if you did it prob happens all the time
