Retrograde Ejaculation
A rarerer variety of ejaculatory problem is one that causes retrograde ejaculation, where the sperm squirt backwards into the bladder, rather than outwards. An orgasm is still achieved, but there is very little semen produced. The cause of the condition is damage to the nerves surrounding the neck of the bladder, where the urethra and the bladder connect. Whilst normally semen cannot go back down the urethra, if the muscles or nerves are damaged then ejaculant can go backwards into the bladder. Common causes of the condition include diabetes, multiple sclerosis and surgery to the prostate gland. Treatment is not normally required, but if a man wants to have children, there are treatments that can strengthen the muscles and improve the flow of semen out of the end of the penis.

Hi ever since I had an inguinal hernia repair in 1984 I have had problems with ejeculation where hardly any ejeculate is produced and no spasms are apparent, I want to point out that prior to the inguinal repair everything was perfectly fine.

Hi, I'm 29 and for the last 11 years I've had problems with ejaculating. I had 8 Hypospadias repairs uptill the age of 11 and then another at age 17 to repair a slight curvature which I was worried about. Instead of advising me that the curvature was fine my doctor operated on me and ever since I have had delayed ejaculation, sometimes it can last hours without ejaculation and I end up with little cuts on my penis (from friction). The underside of my penis has a lot of scar tissue and I only seem to be able to ejaculate by masturbating and not by penetration. It's been too long now and I'm fed up as it makes my sex life (with or without partners) difficult and embarrasing!
Hi - I don't think I can help but...if you go on to www.hypospadias.co.uk there are quite a few men on there with hypospadias who may be able to give you some advice. They're really knowledgable. Lots of mums and dads with hypospadias kids too though I think your first port of call would be the men with it. Good luck.
search for professor mundy who opperates from ucl in london. he has come up with a repair for this. i am going in for the first part of my surgery next month. hope this helps

if you google proffessor mundy it has all his contact details on there. he has come up with a new form of surgery that has a high rate of success. it is done in 2 stages. the total recovery for this is around a year but for myself being in my early 30's and had nothing but problems since my last operation in my early teens. i hope this helps. if you want more info on this let me know your email add and i can send you some links and more contact information. i also have a news paper cut out regarding proffessor mundy and this situation. hope this helps and please look him up and get incontact. if not get your gp to refer you to him.
