Third Nipple

A third nipple

A third nipple didn’t prevent Francisco Scaramanga from becoming the world’s top-paid assassin in the Bond movie ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’…and why should it? After all, it’s not as uncommon as you may think. Around 1 in 18 people in the UK may have a third or ‘supernumerary nipple’ and the only real problem may be the social stigma attached to them. They’re often mistaken for moles, as they are not properly formed like normal nipples and can usually be found on an imaginary ‘milk line’ between the armpit and inner thigh. If you feel uncomfortable about yours, it’s probably best to speak to your GP to determine whether surgery is needed. However, Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg has decided against going under the knife to remove his extra teat, because he’s grown to love it. And to put all the rumours to bed about her third nipple, Lily Allen proudly flashed hers whilst hosting the Friday Night Project!

ive had a third nipple for 20 yrs just under left breast started getting inflamed and swollen for last 5yrs also on same side at same time lump in grion and also neck and lately found lump on shoulder blade scan couldnt find anything but dr could feel it

i've always had two nipples but now one has seem to have split in half.. i'm 13 and i'm kind of worried but i don't want to tell anyone. any help? :/

I was trying to find out something else but i came across this. i have 2 other nipple looking things, they dont bother me but is it strange to have 2 extra ones?

I have one right under my boob and it kinda hurts under the underwiring of my bra.. it doesn't bother me that it's there but it hurts quite a lot when I wear a bra and ofc I can't NOT wear a bra. Should I get it removed?

I had a small soft lump on my shoulder many years ago. My G.P told me it was an extra nipple and refered me to a specialist who confirmed it. He took some photo's of it before he removed it and was told it wouldn't return, but it did. I had it removed again and was told it was a benign tumor. The removal of it didn't hurt and only a small scar was left. I'm really not convinced that it was either of them.

I'm 26 and I got my third nipple removed when I was in 7th grade. I guess that's when I started to notice it. Mine was right under my right breast which as my breast got bigger, I realize the nipple would have been part of my nipple. I was very displeased with my surgery. The Dr asked me if I wanted a vertical or horizontal cut and I told him horizontal. I have a scar that almost touches my nipple bc the scar has stretched over the years. I breastfed and had no problem with it, but I'm looking into getting another surgery bc my left nipple is bigger than my right nipple due to breastfeeding, but only after I'm finished having kids.

My advice for the young adults is to wait until your breast are developed before you get the surgery bc the scar may stretch. Mines certainly did bc I not have a 36C breast.

Hi,
I have had 3 extra nipples for my whole life. If anyone asks i just say they are birthmarks. But i say they are special because hardly many people have them. What ever happens do not get them removed because it will cause a scar that will be even worse than the third nipple … Just count yourself as special!!!!

I'm 15 and I have been aware of my third nipple for 4 years, and I am worried about how big it will get. I haven't told anyone about this, and I am really uncomfortable about my body, and I hope to have it removed without anyone ever knowing about it.

I got mines removed a few months ago, I recomend it highly. No pain at all and I felt instantly more confident :D

hi, to be honest i dont realy know how long ive had it for, i have a birthmark/ mole on my boob, whitch realy makes me feel sad about it, all my family know whitch is ok as they think its fine. But not many other people know about.
im 16 and bin 2 the doctors and they have told me not to get it taken out untill i have stopped developing, i find it hard to wear low tops, bikinis and other stuff, to be honest i would rather it be gone. does eneyone know how big the scar could be !!?? x
