Thrush
There is definitely nothing to sing about with this condition, which affects 80% of women at least once in their lifetime. Not least because of its recurring tendency. However, men don’t get away lightly either, as they are also susceptible to the condition, but less commonly. This is because everyone has small amounts of Candida albicans, the yeast that causes thrush, present in their body. For women the symptoms may include irritation and, more noticeably, a cottage cheese discharge coming from their vagina. Likewise, men may experience inflammation and a similarly unpleasant discharge coming from their penis. Thrush can often go away without treatment, but there are many over-the-counter remedies on hand to help. However, in first time cases or if you’re suffering from a persistent yeast infection, it may be worth consulting your GP for advice.

hi, i think i have a reacurring thrush problem, i have had a water infection that keeps coming back too, it hurts alot when i pee and it burns, the thrush has a dischage and ive tried perseries, cream antibiotics everything, what is there next to try? :(

I'v been with my boyfriend for over a year now, when i have sex its really painfull. I went to see my GP a couple of months ago & was diagnosed with thrush. I was prescribed medication for it & felt a lot better but now i have an extra/dangly bit of flesh down below it's horrible!!!!! What can i do to get rid of it? Please help!!!!!!!!

i think i have thrush, i get liquid white stuff down there and sometimes its i get little white blotches as well. its making me itch, the other day i kept scratching it and i made myself bleed. i only noticed this the other day. i think i have had thrush before, i say about a year ago. but it was lot thicker and smelly last time. but it went by itself. but im really embarrsed to go to the doctor and especially 2 the chemist and shops. do you think it will go by itself again. please help!!!
Hi, im 15 years old, and sometimes my vaginal area can be itchy, and it has white flaky bits of skin, could it be dry skin or thrush? I also get discharge but thought it was just normal (ovulating) after my monthly period. Help??
I'm 17 and for the past few months i've have really bad itching which can get very painfull and ive had discharge which varies alot in consistency and smell. Ive not had sex in 3 months but ive always used protection. i dont have a clue what it is, please could you help.
