Vaginal Prolapse
A vaginal prolapse is when the walls of the vagina become weak and collapse inwards. This can be an extremely distressing disorder, which affects up to 30% of women who have had children, as well as those who are overweight or have a chronic cough. Many women with this condition are often unaware that they have it. However, depending on the severity of the case and whether a woman wants to have children in the future, there are many ways to treat a vaginal prolapse. Women can also take preventative measures against suffering from this disorder, such as eating a high fibre diet, maintaining a healthy weight and performing regular pelvic floor exercises. However if you have any concerns, then you shouldn’t be afraid to visit your GP for a check-up.

iam 15 and have never had a child i seem to have an extra thing coming down my vagina like a bump or a ball after i had my surgical abortion i dnt konw what it is any help ??????????
I have just undergone a hysterectomy and front wall vaginal and pelvic floor repair BUT they said that I couldnt have a vaginal back wall repair due to the fact that I was still sexually active so still have a prolapse which bulges and is noticable. Would a Kegel8 Ultra Plus help with this kind of prolapse? As it has only been three weeks since my operation I would like to use one now rather than later if this indeed will help tighten the back wall. Thank you
i think i have an abnormal vagina. Im 15 comming up 16 and still a virgin. inside my vagine theres sort of an extra tube and allot of white fluides comming out quite frequently. i am 31 with 4 children, youngest is just 3. i sufferered from prtruting bulge that you see above although i was not in pain, a very loose vagina and weak bladder, my sex life was terrible as i could barely feel a thing and partner said there was hardly any friction so we were both unsatisfied. i was particularly miserable and embarrassed too. The NHS would not fix the problem so i ended up paying privately i am nearly £4k lighter but i am so much happier which is well worth any amount of money. i had my front and back wall of the vagina tightened and my bladder tightened too. i try and remember to do my pelvic floor exercises everyday because as with all muscles they can weaken again.
Hi.Im a 28yr old mother of 3 but after having twin,i think i might have prolaps. Inside my vagina is very elasticated and it look's like i have lumps sticking outside. It's worse when i try passing stools as it becomes stuck and i have to put 2 fingers inside my vagina, press down to help push them out. I have had a lot of pain for the past 4 years and have seen my gp many times but nothing ever gets done.

I'm 17, 5'10 and weigh 11st 6lb , and I feel as though I have a tube of muscle or something in the entrance of my vigina, It makes it difficult to insert tampons, so I was wondering if I could possibly have viginal prolaps ? I really don't want to go to the doctors because if it turns out i need an opperation I wouldn't know where to start in telling my mother :S... Please help.
I am sooo fed up, i'm sure i have a prolaps, the area where the womb hangs down, is always sore. If i do my pelvic floor holding up exercise the soreness feels better. I have seen the doctor so many time, and tried so many remadys, but nothing helps. I think i need a hysterectomy, i am willing to go through with quite major surgery just to be free of this awful soreness. What do you think??
Itoo have a prolapse and suffer the worries like every one else, would have liked to read these relies to most of these as i have the same questions?
