Growing Pains
Burnt Bottom
This week the Doctors are at Wakestock to help out teens with festival ailments. First up in the mobile clinic is 18 year old Alex, who has been left with quite a bad burn on his bottom after being the victim of a practical joke. Dr Christian does not see the funny side of this, and after having a quick look he tells Alex that the most important thing is to keep the burn clean and dry to avoid any scarring.

I'm 14 and I'm worried about my discharge it smells quite strong and I get it almost everyday but I clean myself mostly everyday aswell! What do I do? And I don't want to show my doctor my vagina! And my I eat a lot and I get worried about not eating enough and I just don't want anything to happen to me and I'm quite fat and I want to be a little bit slimmer and my boobs grow downwards and I'm a 36/38 'C'! And I've never let any one touch my vagina and I've never had sex and never want to! What shall I do? And is that normal??

Hi, im 13 and i have a problem with my knees. they turn in terribly and when i put my feet together in a paralleled position they both turn in completely and touch each other on the bony part on the top (i dont know what this is called). This cause terrible discomfort after walking for a while and since i go to an all girls school and is compulsory to wear a skirt, my knees are noticeable. If i sit down on my knees for about 2mins then get back up, this is extremely painful and feels as if someone is ripping my legs apart and leaves a terrible ache. As far as I know this doenst run in my family. And im a dancer, does anyone have any advice for this? One knee is worse than the other and they do turn in completely.

I have stretch marks from a growth spurt that I had in my teens. I use Mederma. You can find Mederma for stretch marks and for other scars over the counter at a pharmacy, you don't need a prescription.

Ive been to my GP and was referred for some blood tests to check for diabetes, anemia and an overactive thyroid - all the tests came back normal but im left wondering what on earth is wrong with me? Any Ideas? (I am 20, 5 foot 6, 9.4 stone with no known illness')

Most likely no! Keep your hands very clean and make sure to get under your finger nails, this is where most bacteria will grow on your hands! Hope this info helped =)

elizabeth, i dont know if doctors would advice this, but you should probably try it before surgery, but at some chemists or online they sell estrogone hormones in tablets, estrogone is the hormone that makes your boobs grow, and makes your menopause quicker, try it, it might help! hope it works!!!!, theyll probably grow x
