hi, i'm 15 years old and i have quite a big bunion on mt left foot. my doctor told me to wear shoes with a bit of a heel on them and i have but it's not getting any better but i don't want to have surgery on it because i have seen so many films about people waking up in surgery and i really don't want that to happen, I've tried insoles and my mum's thinking about getting me a thing she saw in a magazine, it's something you wear at night but i don't think it will help any help?

I would also like to know where it is possible to get keyhole surgery performed on bunions as, similarly to one of your other postings, I have been reluctant to have an operation because of recovery time etc

I would also like to know where I could get the bunion keyhole surgery shown on the recent programme. I have put off having surgery because of the time I would have to take off work. Hopefully the recovery time using this method would be considerably less than traditional surgery - which both my sisters have had to have.
