As with most people commenting on this subject, I have hyperpigmentation scars on my face. I was hoping you could advice me on what I can use to get rid of these horrible scars. I hate going out and have a very low self esteem. Please help.
hi im a 25 year old mixed race male i have dark spots on my forehead if i have a spots it will take a long time to heal then wen it does it leaves these dark marks its that bad that i wont even take my baseball cap off at all because of them.i have seeen my gp who basicaly said get on with it there is no treatment can u help me look normal
Hi, I am a 28 year old black female that also has a problem with dark spots and hair on my face and neck, i have been to see my doctor but is not very helpful.I have try main creams to get rid of the dark spot but none work. Can you pls help me to get rid of these dark spot as it is stopping me from getting out and about....x
I have the exact same problem! I'm dark skinned and have excessive hair on my face, neck, and around my nipples. I first noticed this when i was 16 and started plucking it. Since then it has got worse and i now have what looks like razor bumps and ingrown hairs everywhere. I have been to a skin specialist and was told that laser treatment cannot be done on black skin. I was then told to use tend skin for the bumps, exfoliate with Enzyme Ex cell and use derma fade to lighten the patches. I did this for a few months and although the bumps went temporarily, i still have the dark patches. I haven't worn a low cut top in 8 years. I also can't wear my hair up because of the bumps on my face! I'm so tired of having to wear make to cover it. Now that I've seen that laser treatment works, i was wondering what kind products i can use in conjunction with the treatment? Also can you recommend a clinic for the treatment?
hi I am 19 year old and have this problem, since I was around 15 I started to notice get hair on my chest, neck and lower back it is very embarrassing. I don't want to be in a relationship, I don't like meeting people and it has really affect my life and every thing I do because I don't what any one to see it or know I have this problem. The worst time of year for me is summer time as I have to wear scarves. At the moment I am using zineryt and taking lymecycline at the same time and I have seen no changes. I am fed up and really don't know what to do please can you help me so I can feel pretty again.
I too seemed to ave scars left by being bitten by all sorts and even the least lillte scratch leave me with the dark spots. I have tried so many creams but they jus seem to make the spots darker. I am tired of constanly have to hide my whole body away. please doctor any help welcome.

Hi please please please could you help me! I am 29yr old woman & since the age of 11/12 i noticed dark pigment under both my armpits, the surface isnt smooth either its quite rough. It has really made me self conscious & i've got no confidence. I wont get undressed infront of anyone incase they see under my arms, i cant wear strappy tops/dresses or go swimming, all my clothes are long sleeve & even in the summer i wear 3/4 length sleeves as t-shirts can still show under the arms through the gap on the sleeve - im so conscious of it, it may sound silly to other people but it makes me feel so dirty. What can i do to get rid of it & give me my confidence back & stop me feeling depressed. Thanks, i hope you can help me.
I am 23 and seem 2 have permanent scars all over my legs. This was the consiquence of holidaying in one country in particular, three times. I have been told the mosquito's in Grenada are a worst kind because I have travelled to many different countries and have had no problems. The first set of scars, I got at the age of three and the last trip i made to Grenada, I was 12. The scars have very very barely faded. I have tried every creme, even bleach my skin, different diets, etc. Do you have a solution?

HI i have hyperpigmentation under my arms i went to my gp and to hospital i was told it was acanthosis nigricans it smells gets sore and itchy sometimes, I also have skin tags beside it its very difficult to shave as im scared i may cut myself i go to keep fit classes and can't wear vest tops i am embarresed to go to swimming with my kids, i was told there were nothing that could be done could you please help me.
