Some of us seem to be completely covered in moles, while others of us have hardly any at all. However, as Dr Dawn Harper explains to a patient from series one of Embarrassing Illnesses, we all get more as we grow older. But Dr Harper also discusses the changes in moles that we should be aware of, and what to do if we are concerned.

hey, i got a mole on me face and wondered how the big the scar be on me face its around half a centimetre wide and is flat.

I have a mole on the side of my face. I shaved it when i was younger, I keep dong so as hair grows back. I'm worried I damaged it. Also, it could be cancer as it used to be two side by side but grew into one as i grew. Please help.

I am 14 and have a mole on my right thigh. its only slightly raised and really want it removed but i don't know whether i can, it's really lowering my confident in wearing shorts and it gets me down. Please Help.

i am 13 and have quite alot of moles, when i go on holiday i always put factor 50+ on them. but when i went on holiday ( i have some big, raised, odd one's on my scalp) I got sunburn on my head :S it began peeling and i was worried. Then 2-3 weeks after i came back everything was fine but when i have itched my back and head the top of the moles have come off and bled then went back to normal. but i itched my head and two of the mole heads came off and they are sore and bleed but normally they go back to normal should i go see my doctor before the hopefully clear up just to be sure they are fine?????
