Consultation: Peyronie’s Disease

Peyronie’s disease affects approximately 80,000 men in the UK and although it tends to run in families, it can also be caused by damage to the penis. In this consultation taken from series one of Embarrassing Illnesses, Dr Christian Jessen refers a patient with Peyronie’s to undergo surgery to correct his curve!

In December I had a fall which caused me many injuries but one problem has only just occurred 'pyronies'. there is a lump in the middle of my penis and it bends 30% to the left when erect. So worried I recently had a consultation referred by my GP, outcome:DR did an ultrasound scan which showed scarring on both sides of the penis;I was told that over time(only been 3xmonths)it may correct itself and any operation would have to wait at least 12xmonths! I'm 44 with partner of 21yrs and extremely worried that time will make it worse, sex is a huge turn-off now and depresses me constantly as I have always been very active. Is there anything else that can be done at this time? Research seems never ending!

A lot of people seem to be asking to cure peyronies disease without surgery, I also didn't want to have surgery and decided that ignoring was best at first but after a while I just couldn't and found a traction device called http://www.sizegenetics.com/. It works over time to straighten your penis - best thing I ever bought

I am 15 almost 16, and i have a slight problem. My penis seems to curve to the left when erect and it is visible when not erect. Is this a disease and is there any way to solve it without any serious operations, as it is very embarrassing. Is there anything i personally can do, and will this get worse?
