I'm a 25 year old female and I started menstrating at the age of sixteen but it has always been heavy and prolonged up to three months none stop. I was later diagnosed with PCOS and placed on dianet which some times seize my period for months which worries me. I read that PCOS could be as a result excessive androgen production in women. I have an apple body shape which means my body deposits fat in the wrong places. Is they a hormone suppliment that can correct or improve this?

I have had no periods for 2 years since having my last child. I started my periods at 14 which were so heavy i was put on depo, after stopping I fell pregnant and after several complications i had emergency c section at 32wks. Ithen had 4 consecutive misscarrages in a 3 year period. 2 which were late. I was put on asprin with no +diognsis. I successfully then had 2 normal births with complicated pregnancies. I had ITP AT 18 and a spleenectomy soon follwed could this be related? I have had loads of test still no diagnosis. Ive seen heamatology, gynicology, endocrinology. no one knows whats wrong. anyone have any ideas?

Hi, I'm 19 and I started my period when I was 14. At first my periods were regular, but by the time I was 15 they were very irregular. My last period was in October 2009 and the one before that was in November 2008! I'm really worried that something might be wrong with me! I heard that stress can affect them, but I don't get stressed very often. Please help me and should I be really worried??

Hi I'm 18 years old and as long as I can remember my periods have been seriously irregular. I can go 6-9 months without a period, I am not sexually active and this is partly due to that. My periods can last from a month to two months. They can be very very light, or extremely heavy, so much that I go through a very strong tampon within an hour, other times I bleed for a day randomly and just stop. I am really worried, I have been tested for hormones in a general blood sample but nothing came back. I have also never grown hair underneath my arms, is this a hormone issue? I started my periods when I was 11, surely I should have developed by now? Please help me.
