Hi my gorgeous little boy who is now 3 was burnt by boiling hot water when he was 1, he has a keloid scar on his shoulder and it has grown slighly over the years, the doctor i saw avised that he was too young for steroid treatment, but i am worried that the longer it is left the bigger it will get…. Can u please help..and point me in the right direction..thank u…
I believe this is quite similar to condition that i have. I have 9 medium sized keliods on my shoulders and shoulder blades (ranging from 1pence piece sized to 50pence sized). These are extremely prominant and are red in colour. I have been to the doctors many years ago and they started off with a treatment of cortosine injections in one of them but this actually extended it and it (melted) the skin around the keliod, making it look worse. Since then i have been hiding these especially in shower blocks and during swimming… Could you please give any other information
I have had this condition since for 12 years now.. i've seen a specialist for years who has now retired and i'm having to go on the waiting list to start to see a specialist at my hospital. I was told it is called Dissecting Cellulitous and i have been taking various tablets Oxytetracycline and Erythromicin for years now. Please could I get some advice from someone. thanks you
I have keliod scaring on my shoulders and chest,around 50 all togehter,ive had them for around 20 yrs,doctors have tried cream,tablets but nothng worked,This is embarrasing because i carnt wear nice tops or go swimming etc without been covered up all the time.Any advice would be appriciated, thanks
Hello great staff you doing here, I would a little help with this form of condition. But more on the chest, any creams or medicine that can help me it to rest. I have had it for nearly 5 years and not seen a doctor :( which is really bad I know. It had start off with 1 then through out the years got bad.
This is the condition my son has suffered with for a number of years now without any treatment to help it. He finds it really painful and inflamed at certain times and on seeing your programme on tv I thought you could help. The video clip was great and to see the results from proper treatment was really encouraging and to actually find out what it was.Please send me more information.
I have looked at the clip on acne keloids, an have found it rather informative, since I too have the condition.

i got a big keloid on my left ear and each time people look at me ,i want to get married but i feel that i will not look my best because off my keloid on my ear as it is very painful ,please could someone let me know were i can get it removed thank oyu
I believe I am suffering from this very condition and would really appreciate it if someone could contact me with details of treatments as my doctors have been attempting to treat me for a couple of years without success. Please help me out here as this condition is pretty painfull as well as very embarrissing.
