Think she's an extremely brave lady, good luck to her. Glad that the results was positive.

Wow! What a great woman! I would totally do the same if I was her. I think given the choice I'd rather lose my hair than my boobs. I love my boobs!

One of my breasts is scarred afer being scalded as a child, my breasts are different sizes and one nipple is about 2 inches higher than the other. My whole life has been blighted by my breasts. I constantly have to wear chicken fillets to make the appearance look as normal as possible when I am fully dressed, I always have to be careful that I wear clothes that do not show any cleavage and swimming costumes are a big no. I would love a breast reconstruction to make me feel normal, so that I can get up in the morning and not reach for a bra a chicken fillets before going down to put the kettle on.

Why the critism? It looks bad and I would hate to be left like that. Good for her getting it sorted!

To the comment up the top. I had that to, (a lump under my armpit)I can't really remember what it was but I think it was a sweat gland or something and it's gone now and I was really worried to. But Id defnetly go and get it checked anyway just in case. :)

I wish that people were made more aware of the dangers of having breast augmentation. I had silicone implants put in as I needed reconstruction and one ruptured and it has made me very poorly. They were in for 13 years, and I kept saying I felt unwell, but the Drs said all was ok. Even ultrasounds and an MRI said that all was okay- but I insisted on a lymph node biopsy which showed silicone. i then had my implants removed at great cost. I now have chronic fatigue syndrome, heart problems, thyroid problems extreme weight gain, anxiety, depression. All this is thought to be from the rupture, although my Dr will not put this in writing! PLEASE don't be fooled thinking saline ones are safer- the shells are still made of silicone. If you need reconstruction look into having tissue from your buttock or tummy placed there instead. I wouldn't wish my ailments on anyone.
