I've got a bit of a weird thing, one of my 'lips' is bigger than the other by about a centimetre or so- this may not seem like much, but it is to me. It's uncomfortable wearing tights and I am self concious and don't want to go swimming. My boy friend and I have been seeing each other for over a year, but we haven't 'done anything' and before i even think about bringing up going further (I'm nearly 18)i just want to know if i'm ok. I really really hate it, it doesn't look nice and it's hard to keep clean. Erm, just wondering if that was normal.
Yeah i have large labia too. i hate them so much they're so ugly and ive been aware of them since i was about 13 (im 16 now). Recently ive got close to a boy and we've been seeing eachother for a couple of months now and im too scared to let him go down there even though he's tried and i've always thought of an excuse. I really want to let him but i'm just too scared he'l think its dusgusting and weird. Surgery is long and so expensive but im too embarassed about them to have the sex life id like to have. errrghhhh!
hi. im 15, 16 very shortly and have an enlarged labia!! im soo worried about it!! ive done quite a lot of reasearch, but im still so embarrassed about teling anyone, and the fact that if i go to my local GP, they will not be as understanding, and helpful as 'embarrasing bodies'!! i was in quite a long term realationship, and it fell apart because i was terrified about having sex for the first time! i felt aweful, and i dont know what to do!! please help me!!
can do do the labia shortening procedure during local anaesthetic rather than general anaesthetic?
I have the same problem. It is so disgusting and I feel so unfeminine, as with pants on there's a bulge and i was wandering if you can do the op just numbed but awake?
My labia are bigger than the lady in the video and none of my bfs have ever complained. My current bf actually loves them! I was surprised at much skin was removed in the surgery. I don't think I'd like that much of my feel-good bits cut off!
Both men and women come in a variety of shapes and sizes. From what I could see the woman in the video was perfectly normal. I am surprised that the cosmetic surgeon said that 'there was too much'. Why do some women think that their large lips are unattractive? As I man, I can state that such endowments are just the opposite!
Can someone help my daughter is only 10 and after everything downstairs being perfectly normal she has just shown me that she has large labia, being so young she is so embarrassed and it is breaking my heart that she is so sad as it has just recently come about...i dont know what to do as if i go to the doctors i am sure they will say its cosmetic and there is nothing they can do, but she desperately needs help
Really all you can do is tell her you love her and that she's beautiful no matter what. Im 19 now but i developed between the ages of 9-13 so i know what shes going through. I have large labia and yes it can be slightly uncomfrotable and yes sometimes you dont feel particularly attractive but in the long run we are all made in our own way and who is anyone else to say we're wrong? Dont take her to the GP as this will only make her feel like this is an illness or deformaty. Hope this helps a little.
Hi i am 19 .. i have a large Labia i dont no what to do!It is longer than the lady's on the video i mean longer!! It can be reali unconfortable , and it is reali noticeable. It hurts when i wear jeans it rubs , i cant wear thongs ect, i dnt feel normal .I feel reali unconfortable getting unchanged in front of my bf i just cant do it or having a shower! I wanna be able to feel fine about it but i cant. Is ther any other way of making it shorter than having surgery?? I throu i was just weird and that no one else has it but i was wrong it isnt just me and i feel that i aint alone! my bf aint said anything about it .. i dont no if he has noticed or doesnt wanna say anythin cuz it wil upset me do i talk to him about it?? i am to scared to go see my GP and talk to my parents about it wat do i do?? I read abbys comment and i wish i was like her not bothered about it and get on with life : ( Please help need advise anyone????
Hi im nearly 18 years old and i have a large labia (big lips whateverr you want to call it) and im so so insecure about it, one of my ex partners have questioned me about it but i just changed the subject. i HATE it so much and im considering surgery, although im terrified of getting put to sleep. Would it cost for my age or will the NHS cover it? I cant wear bikinis because im too paranoid people will notice, also dont have much of a sex life anymore as i dont want anyone else to notice it. It's horrible, any advice please?
