johnny i couldnt agree with you more, I am 21 years old and have had gynocomastia for years now, i finally decided to get this treated and went to my gp whoe reffered me to a specialist straight away. the specialist did not even look at me properly and turned me away and told me to "live with it". I went back to the doctors to try again with another doct or who told me this was a weight issue and that the NHS will never reat this kind of issue and that i need to lose weight when the 1st doctor i saw stated i was completely healthy, i keep going back to the doctors with no joy as i simply cannot afford a 5K operation. I simply do ot know where to go!!

I noticed i had man boobs or gynocomastica at the age of 17 and it made me really paranoid because no matter what exercise i did nothing worked. so eventually i had the operation done. i am sure i had it done on the NHS because i know their is no way we could have afforded it. just see another gp and tell him.its affecting your work your relationship and its painful and cases irritation. if worse comes to the worst then look at having the operation.abroad like the cz rep which will be a lot cheaper. do the operation, it completely changed my life and has mae me so much more confident and feeling more like a man. but best of all there is no restriction on clothes shopping thinking if my chest will look big in this ! If you have to save then save but do the operAtion its worth it. when they finish the operation they will tie a bandage all they way around your chest very tightly for a few weeks you might see a bit of blood stains through through bandage but dontt worry. after a few weeks they remove them . easy

Hey, I'm 22 and I have just this year went from 19st to 13st (lost 6st) and in the process of losing that weight I noticed that my skin was starting to sag, which is really depressing considering the hard work that I was putting in to it. You have done fantastic for losing 4.5 st, honestly well done, but the road to healthy isn’t over yet! You need to get your weight down even further to approximately 12st depending on your age and height. I know have the sagging skin is very demotivating but still I’m continuously going to the gym and dieting to reducing my body fat % to a healthy level. Once your body fat % is healthy you can consider surgery, otherwise these specialist don’t really take a second look at you. My goal is to lose more fat until all these is sagging skin then I’m going to have my surgery. The way I look at it this isn’t just to look good, but to be fit and healthy for the rest of my life.

Hi i have man boobs n i have been pressin up when i contract and touch my breast it very strong n hard but when i realise d fat comes up why

The best thing to do if you have "man boobs" is not to start a fad diet but to pay attention to the amount of fat your consuming. You should reduce the amount of saturated fatty foods, and anything processed you are eating. also exercise regularly, but mainly cardio! But remember, anything worth doing and that is healthy takes time, quick fixes do not last. Also for the people saying they are not overweight (and for anyone who feels lumps under their nipples) but have "man boobs" you should go see a doctor as this is more than likely gynecomastia (a build up of hormones behind the nipple) or may be cancer.

I used to weight 38 and a half stone and have lost the weight, now down to 13 stone. As a result of the weight loss im left with huge folds of excess skin on my upper and lower stomach, back, arms, legs and breasts. Ive applied for funding from my local PCT to remove these and am awaiting their decision, this is taking forever and its hard to get any answers from anyone. Im constantly just told to be patient and cant seem to get anywhere, ive waited well over a year now. Im terrified they're going to say no. Theres no way i can go through the rest of my life as i am now and i cant afford the surgery i need myself. This is literally ruining any quality of life i might have because of the numerous problems caused by it and it makes me wonder whether all the effort to lose the weight was worth it in the first place. For anyone who is putting on weight with an attitude of i'll lose it eventually and for those trying to lose weight you really need to consider the aftermath, there are consequences to every decision we make and i know that more now than every before. If only i hadnt gained the weight in the first place i wouldnt be in this situation now.

i know were ur coming from, i went from 32 stone to 16 stone, i am 24 and ive already been told there is 20% nhs will fund me getting my extra skin removed, i dont go out anymore, i dont like mirrors am sooo down with it, i just wish there was a mirical for me.

i know also how you feel, i have lost 9 stone in the last year and i pretty much look exactly like the guy on the video up there. iv been to my GP and they wont do anything about it as the only choice is plastic surgery...i feel like i am being punished for loosing the weight potentially saving the nhs loads of money from being overweight now they wont give me the body iv worked hard for just because they deem it as unnecessary

i am 15 yaer old an ihave man boobs i want lose thas

I rated the video as not helpful because is only showed the aftermath in the few days after the surgery. A major issue for these men, and perhaps me, if I decide to go through it is, what do the scars look like after. He was worried about not being able to take off his shirt to show his man boobs, but will he have such awful scars that he STILL won't take off his shirt? Show me THAT video.
