well i've tried all the products available in the market with no luck i've lost my hair in my late 20s and until today i dont photograph with my children i always put a cap i never shown my head to my family i always cover it up with something ! this is very imparessing for me even my kids noticed that i dont have hair copair with my other brothers and they tell my brothers that father don't have hair ! i went to the hospital group for hair transplant but was not too happy about the doctor so i called it off i'm welling to pay the money if i can get a granteed results i was going to pay 3000 pound but the doctor said he will do only 1500 grafts adn i've asked for 3000 !
any one did hair trasplant with the hospital group ?

My partner has been losing his hair since he was 16 and it's making him feel worse and worse each times he looks himself in the mirror and seriously lacks confidence. He's tried massages and went through a course of it (kindly offered by a friend who specializes in them), but it hasn't seemed to help. As like many young couples we aren't able to afford any sort of surgery or expensive treatments. Does anybody know of any other "home treatments" that are known to stimulate the follicles?

i started losing my hair at 16, it completely knocked my self confidence during those important years at school. im now 23 and completely bald like my dad, but i shave the hair on the back and side of my head so i dont look like im in my 30s. most people (and i agree) say i look better with a shaven head, but this is only because my hair was wild and out of control when i had it. im still not the most confident guy on the planet, but ive come to accept my baldness, the only problem i have now is how much money i spend on razors, i would like to find some sort of permanent hair removal method if any one has any ideas?

im 19 started losing my hair bout 12 months ago, and just been getting balder and balder. i went to the doctor and she said that there was nothing on the nhs. so now i no there is called regaine i will be going back to she in the morning to say something to her. being bald at the front of my head has made me very stressed and embarrassed to go out. its not a nice thing

i've been suffering male pattern baldness since the age of 14! im 17 now (just) and it still hasnt reached a really bad stage but the dread of the day it's all gone like my brother. i have a small bald spot already and extremely thin hair already. a doctor advised me to use regaine at the age of 16 and i did, after a year i got really good results but it has returned to before now. agree with the above poster that losing hair young is a terrible process.

Ive noticed my brother's hair growing thin around the edges but he has too much pride to even speck about it, i was wondering if their is any creams or shampoo's to help growth of hair as he is only 18 and looks goos when spikes his hair up, but however now his thinning he leaves it un geled to look more full … i wish there was somethink i could do and he despises doctors and hospitals is there anything you can suggest ?
i feel he is highly ashamed of this and it depresses me knowning his troubles and nothing i can do to help !!
PLEASE help ?

im 17 and this has started 1 1/2 years ago and my sister has also got bald patches all over her head can my hair grow back natrually and how long does it take. Can you also tell me what i can do to stop this.

I am currantly 26 and have been losing my hair since 18, i have tried regaine with no effect and it has effected my confidence alot since it started. I have very thin soft white or blonde hair now almost like baby hair on the top which grows really slowly and much thinner than the dark brown hair on the sides. I would really like some feedback on this baby hair thats growing on top or is it to late to get my hair back ????

I didnt find it that useful, because Im 17 and have a receding hairline and when it started I went to the doctors and had blood tests etc. but nothing showed, so I went on the internet and now know everything there is about hair loss treatments. All these treatments like rogaine and propecia are only good during continued use as hair may just fall out again if they are stopped being used for as little as 3 weeks. Depressing eh? However it doesnt give a massive improvement but promotes follicle growth and that is taking zync tablets once a day or once a week, and it thickens the existing hair and increases hair growth although I'm unsure on what effect it has on regrowing lost hair. Personally I am in the mindset that hair is only a bunch of dead cells and baldness is just the same as getting wrinkles or getting a bit of a beer gut. Some have it, some dont and when i lose my hair totally im just going to shave my head. You can look just as awesome with no hair as you can with a full head of hair. Just look at Vin Diesel. Remember, worrying about losing your hair can cause hair loss.

I totally agree hair loss has totally ruined my self esteem and i lack confidence completely! I am 26 and started losing my hair at 18! I hate looking into mirrors or anything that shows my reflection! I am desperate for a cure and i am considering trying propecia and regaine! Does anyone know how much it costs on private prescription? If this does not work i will opt for hair transplant surgery but i know this will cost over £2500!
