Hi, I'm in my 30's and have had some spots all my life on my face, however i have noticed recently that at stressful times i have been affected more by them and on others areas of my body.ie my right arm,my bum and the top of myback. The problem i have is coz i'm currently unempolyed and at home all day with the kids i cannot leave these spots alone so i end up scarring from them. I just wondered if anyone knew of any good scarring removal creams or oils that i could try to help reduced the appearence of these scars as now i feel very ugly from them and always try and hide these parts by covering up. I have tried Bio oil and other types of lotions and soaps but nothing really seems to work. Its really effecting my self esteem at present i would apppreciate anyones advice or help. Thanks
Use Bio-oil
Hi, I'm 19 and i have lots of acne on my back chest and arm. I don't even know if i can call it acne but it's a red spot doesn't have a head or anything. Most of the doctor I've visited said if was because of my skin is blocking the hair from coming out and created an acne. I tried all the medicine but it doesn't seem to work. so i wonder what should i use to get rid of there acne?
hi im kate, i am 22 and working full time, my problem is my skin on my face and neck. i had the usual skin at school, a spot here and there nothing to bad. and just the last 2/3 years my face has got quite bad . i have quite bad acne pipals and boils on my face and neck. i have tried all different kinds of creams, freedom, quinoderm, witch hazel, retin a gel, dalacin T topical solution and currently taking tetralysal 300mg capsules. i have ben taking these capsules for 2 months, as the doctor has told me to take them for 3 months, i am currently still using retin A gel, nothing seems to work. i am starting to see scaring aswell. what do i do? help! also on my face i have quite bad, well really bad greasy skin. my skin would only take about an hour to two hours to become shiny, i pat my face down with blotting paper nearly every 2 hours and have to re-do my makeup at least twice a day. i have tried cleansers, toners, all different moisturizers, face masks. i have also tried an expensive clinque cleanse, tone, moisturizer and foundation for really oily and greasy skin. and nothing works. its very embarrassing as most people think ive been on a two mile run. it would be really great if any one could help and get my spots and shine under control. please help!!
HI..I have really greasy skin and get spots which has troubled me since school!! So i understand how fed up you can feel after trying so many products of which none help!! I have recently found that drinking at least 2 bottles of water day and taking zinc tablets can really help!! Also i have started using La Roche-Posay creams and face wash which are designed for sensitive, oily and imperfection prone skin. They are really good!! I would particularly recommend the La Roch-Posay Effaclar Duo cream for spots and Effaclar M to help with oil control!! They sell them at boots currently on 3 for 2 which is good!! Lastly, to help with oily skin and make up i would recommend trying milk of magnesia as a 'make up base'. Wiping some onto your T-Zone with a cotton pad will help prevent oil for hours and your make up will last!! I know its a bit weird (if you know what it is) but it really works and is not bad for your skin! Youtube or google it, it helps sooo many people!! If you try on this i really hope it helps you!! :):)
hi i do really sympathise with you, i have a close friend who really suffers with her skin. and i also try numerous products to help with my own skin. my friend went to an established beauty salon/clinic where they deal with skin mapping, taking a really detailed look into your skin and products that can help so this maybe worth looking into. not always cheap but if it helps then well worth it. good luck xx
I have been recently using the sunbeds, not for long just a couple of times before going on holidays. However twice when i have came out of them i have noticed medium size skin coloured bumps on my back, tummy and chest. was wondering does anyone know what these are...

Im 18 years old and recently I have developed a lot of blackheads on my face which I never had before. I have tried everything to treat these blackheads and they really don't seem to be going away. They are really unattractive looking and are starting to look like small dents inn my face. Can anyone recommend anything?
Hi im a 21 year old male who has had acne since I was 15 years old. I was told it would go away when I left my teens but it has got worse since I turned 20. I was told about roaccutane but declined it due to depression history in my family. My acne is largely on my back and face.Any suggestions on other treatments.
Hehe.. I'm 37 and STILL get one or two zits every couple of months... since I was 14! Fortunately, I think the worst is behind me, but that was also in my 20s. I will say that it has gotten better lately. Thank goodness! As a female, however, gradually lightening up on my makeup use really helped, even if that meant having to run errands with an undisguised, bad pimple. Eek! I also changed my daily face-washing routine (Neutrogena Gentle Foaming Face Wash, followed by Biore toner with salicytic acid and an occasional spot lotion at night, also with salicytic acid) and have been very diligent about doing this every morning and night. Also a gentle face scrub in the shower every few days has helped slough off dead skins that block oxygen. I've also tried to be more aware of how often I unconsciously touch my cheeks and chin (my worst areas). And drink plenty of water. Many people have reminded me that good skin on the outside starts with good skin cells on the inside. :) Good luck! And I hope it gets better for you soon. :)
