I have had the same problem for some years as well. I found that when ever I could take, my shoes and socks off they felt better. Clean socks every day and comfortable shoes but it still has not gone. Is there a permanent solution???

the ball's of my feet are cracked, very dry and very sore, I cut off the skin that i can lift up and file with a pumice stone.that works for about 2 days and then the cracks reappear it usually happens on holiday and I thought it was the heat. Now it is there all the time and when i catch the skin that has cracked its very painful. its nowhere else just on the balls. I put oilatum cream and oil on to keep my feet from being very dry but doesnt seem to work.
