Hi, im 28 and have been having problems with my hair becoming thinner and my hair line receding more and more since i was about 19 it is very distressing and all i think about on a regular basis so much that i have become so paranoid i aint been out socialising for over 5years now im very depressed by this and everytime i do go out i alwys wear baseball caps so much people have began to joke sayin things like do you sleep in that hat and is it stuck to your head which i have no reply 2. I also havent worked since i was 21 due to the fact of having to have my hair on show and become constantly wary of been looked at by people and having them laugh or speak about it my own GP just also has laughed this off on numerous occasions which isnt helpful i feel like im stuck in a rut that il never get out of any help i would me more than greatful for.
Iam 22 years old and have noticed my hairline receding and my hair getting consierably thinner. I used to be confident and outgoing but now i avoid social situations. I have become nervous when talking to people I do not know. My hair loss is all i seem to think about, day and night. I dont style my hair at all now because i am unhappy with it however it looks. I started using minoxidal about 6 months ago and propecia 3months ago but have seen little difference. I feel this treatment is rather expensive for the amount of benefit i am seeing. Are there any alternatives? can my gp help? or is surgery even a possibility?
My son is 17 and has big issues with his hairline he thinks its too high and wants to have an operation to bring it lower. We went to see our doctor who said nothing can be done but he is so depressed about it and is adamant he is going to find someone to do this . Is there anyway you could help or give us some information of the best place to go . Thank you

Hello. I have been losing my hair since I was about 24 I am now 31 and I get sick of people keep going on about it. Its as if they think I dont no and havent realised Im balding and they keep reminding me it hits your confidense and I feel like I look older than I am. But I have some hope I have been using regain now for some years and it seems to hold it off at the front and middle area its definately worth giving it a go its best to start using it while your young and before your hair loss gets to bad. I have also been using nourkin over the last 4 months im going to see if it works over the next year and is easier to use its just a tablet. They both seem to slow it down or stop it getting worse. people dont mention it much any more either so I recommend you all give it ago and remember your not alone it happens to millions of us
