Quick Health Advice: Stress Incontinence

It is estimated that 6 million people in the UK suffer from urinary incontinence, and it is twice as common in women as men. In this exclusive guide, Dr Harper explains the causes of this surprisingly common, but distressing, condition and advises on the exercises, techniques and surgery that can help alleviate the problem. Suffering in silence is the only option no longer available.

I am 14 (15 in Febuary) I have a problem where if I'm nervous I wet myself. I can't help it and I can't stop it!... I need help, I haven't told my mum (because I am very embarrassed) I wet the bed until I was 13, I still do it now and again but it's if I don't go to the toilet before I go to bed. I also wet myself in p.e!... (it's so bad that I have too change my pants twice a day when I'm at school) I have researched some 'quick fixes' for my problem but I can't find anything. PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE!

Hi, im under 16 and i go to a lot of sleepovers and obviously at a sleepover you are going to have a laugh with the girls! But i'm the type of person who finds nearly everything "overly funny" and i just can't stop from wetting myself! after it happens i find it hard to talk to my friends for days (because obviously they notice) and i have found myself using pads just incase it happens. But i can't go on using those for the rest of my life! is there anything i can do to help this from happening? to stop the humiliation? please, if there are any suggestions; tell me!!! :) x
